LifeScienceAnimationSketches

The South Lobby animation wall will be home to a suite of up to 10 interactive animations based on the patterns that are integral to life descending in scale from the universal to the subatomic. Beginning with the creation of hydrocarbons in nebula and ending with the subatomic decay patterns this suite of animations will use patterns such as phytoplankton, protein structures, the molecular structure of dna and fold patterns to highlight the beauty of the patterns that inform life at all scales. Unified by dark blue almost black backgrounds, each will move on it's own but when interacted with (whether by motion or touch) they will move faster or set off a chain of reactions. Here is a short reel exploring some preliminary ideas for these.
